The IPAD CU-SP1 is a semi-automated external defibrillator (AED). When connected to a patient, the IPAD CU-SP1 automatically receives and analyzes the patient's electrocardiogram (ECG) for ventricular fibrillation or ventricular tachycardia (also known as shockable rhythms). If a shockable rhythm is detected, the device automatically charges. The defibrillation shock is delivered when you press the SHOCK button. The IPAD CU-SP1 is easy to use. It guides you through the rescue operation with voice prompts and indicators (LED and graphic indicators). The IPAD CU-SP1 is small, lightweight, highly portable and battery operated. It is very suitable for use in community non-hospital settings.
