Each PROTEC detector is a complete Dr kit consisting of a portable detector in cassette format and CONAXX 2 data acquisition software. get superior image quality in seconds, whether you use it as a Wi-Fi or connected solution. Detector dimensions of 43 × 36 cm and 43 x 43 cm are available from various manufacturers. The light weight, as well as the format of the cassette, make it easy to handle. This size also allows you to easily upgrade your existing system with the PROTEC detector – enter the world of digital X-rays!

Automatic exposure detection

All PROTEC RAPIXX detectors use automatic exposure detection (AED). Without connecting to a generator, you can take X-rays quickly and easily. Even at the lowest dose values, radiation is detected automatically. You benefit from a highly efficient system that allows you to take X-rays without triggering them.

Detector Synthesizer

The scintillator used in the detector is necessary to obtain a high-quality X-ray image. Both widely used materials on the market, gadolinium oxysulfide (abbreviated Gadox) and caesium iodide (abbreviated CsI), are used in the RAPIXX portfolio. CsI detectors provide excellent image quality while reducing the radiation dose by up to 10%. Gadox detectors require a higher radiation dose due to their design, but offer you a good, cheaper alternative - we will be happy to advise you!

For the RAPIXX system, in its various versions, several CE-marked devices are combined to be labeled as a medical system. Accordingly, PROTEC provides an application in accordance with Article 22 of regulation (EU) 2017/745 for the RAPIXX system, which can be used by our distributors for sale and installation.
