The handtutor ™ physical and occupational therapy product provides functional training of fine motor skills of the fingers and wrist and rehabilitation of the hand. The system consists of an ergonomic glove and special software for physiotherapy rehabilitation. This allows the therapist to work within the patient's motor capabilities.
HandTutor can be combined with functional electrical stimulation (FES) to increase the ability to move actively by introducing auxiliary active practice. It improves fine motor skills, sensory and cognitive motor abilities through controlled hand physical therapy.
The movement biofeedback glove ensures that the patient is motivated and interested in intensive practice. Movement instructions and feedback provided by special rehabilitation software prevent the development of unwanted and compensatory movements in the joints and ensure better performance of functional tasks.
The system is used in many leading physical and occupational therapy centers around the world and has CE and FDA certifications.
